Duće is a town near Omis with a beautiful 3 km long sandy beach – Copacabana. It is 2 km away from the mouth of the river Cetina, and the river canyon takes you in the hinterland discovering the famous tourist resort Radmanove mlinice and the river Mala and Velika Gubavica falls. Visitors who are looking a for challenge and adventure can enjoy the unforgettable rafting experience on the upper flow of the river Cetina. You can find accommodation in private apartments and in camps. Entertainment programs can be found in the nearby town of Omiš.

Trogir, set on a small island less than an hour from Split, is one of the most seductive towns on the Dalmatian coast. Its weathered Romanesque and Venetian-Gothic palaces, churches and monasteries fanning from its antique square have put Trogir on the Unesco list of world heritage sites. A stone bridge makes it accessible from the mainland, a mobile bridge connects it with the island of Ciovo.

Split is the second largest city in Croatia and home to Diocletian s Palace, one of the many jewels along the Dalmatian coast. Known for its Mediterranean mild weather, small neighboring islands, and the football team, Hajduk, Split is a welcoming, historic city that is both bustling and naturally breathtaking. The city’s waterfront ( Riva ) is also the place to be at any time during the year, where you can take in the beauty of the Adriatic as you sit at one of the many sidewalk cafes.


Omis is a small, old fortified town, built originally at the foot of the rugged and steep cliffs of the western spur of the Omiska Dinara mountain. Modern Omis has spilled out of the old walls, spreading to a shallow promontory which the Cetina river has formed on the left bank of its confluence. The most distinctive feature of Omis are the enormous sheets of rock that loom over the town and river. At one time the rocks helped seclude the pirates that made Omis one of their chief strongholds.
 

Makarska is a city in the Split – Dalmatia county of Croatia, population 13,716 (2001). It is located on the coast of the Adriatic Dalmatia, about 60 km southeast of Split and 140 km northwest of Dubrovnik. It is a famous tourist centre, located on a horseshoe shaped bay between the Biokovo mountain and the Adriatic Sea. The city is noted for its palm-fringed promenade, where fashionable cafés, bars and boutiques overlook the pretty harbour where many pleasure craft are moored.
